Cross-border agricultural cooperation

In order to coordinate researches a cooperation agreement was signed by the representatives of the Center for Agriculture and the Faculty of Economics from the University of Debrecen, the National Center for Food Industry and Agriculture in Nyitra, the Ukrainian National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Nagybakta Experimental Station of the National Farmland in Transcarpathia and the Livada Experimental Station of the Romanian Agricultural Research Institute. As a result of the cooperation that spanned decades the three foreign institutions were pleased to join the invitation of the University of Debrecen. Through the agreement the consortium will be able to utilize its combined resources more effectively in which the researchers from Transcarpathia can apply for EU resources that are available for Ukraine as well.


Scientific cooperation between Ukrainian and Hungarian institutions

Vergunov V. A., director of the Library of the Ukrainian National Academy of Agriculture, Keremeny V. G. president of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences and Kotzur V. P. rector of the University of Perejaszlov – Hmlenyicky visited the Center for Agricultural Sciences and the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management at the University of Debrecen at the end of April in 2015.

The aim of the visit was to expand the scientific cooperation between the previous Ukrainian-Hungarian institutes the institutes of the Center for Agricultural Sciences & the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management in addition to developing innovative solutions and preparing new cooperation projects.
