It can be granted to Hungarian and foreign natural and legal entities,
- who contributed to the development of the Centre and the improvement of its domestic and foreign reputation,
- who played a significant role in the development of the social, scientific network of the Institute
- who provided a significant service for the Institute.
The commemorative medal can be awarded to public figures, acknowledged domestic or foreign experts who have a regular contact with the IAREF and help its development.
The medal is made of bronze; it is a 80 mm diameter circle shaped medal. On its front side the logo of IARF can be seen as well as the inscription “UD IARF COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL”
On the backside, there are symbols from the era of the Hungarian conquest. The name of the recipient and the year of awarding is in the middle. The commemorative medal is accompanied by an honorary certificate.
