It can be awarded to researchers, researcher groups of IAREF who/which have published the result of their research by 31St August of the given year in an acknowledged professional publication, made it accessible in the Human Resource Recording System of UD IAREF and thus reached the highest cumulative publication value during the previous calendar year (according to the official assessment system of the Agricultural Department of the Hungarian Academy of Science);
- or who has the highest number of independent citations;
- or who provided the most excellent scientific performance during the previous calendar year in terms of projects, patents, scientific awards or other scientific acknowledgements.
The award is accompanied by a certificate and a medal.
