It can be granted to natural and legal entities who have significantly facilitated the development of the research activities of IAREF and it can also be granted to lecturers, researchers of IAREF departments as an acknowledgment of their successful research activities.
The medal is made of silver, it is a 60 mm diameter circle shaped medal. On its front side, the inscription “FOR AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH IN DEBRECEN” can be read. In the middle the logo of UD IAREF is seen, while on the backside, there are symbols from the era of the Hungarian conquest. The commemorative medal is accompanied by an honorary certificate.
